Porada
Wood, worked by hand.
Porada is one of the clearest expressions of understated Italian design, known for its mastery of solid wood and meticulous craftsmanship and detailing. The company was founded in 1948 by Luigi Allievi, building on a family tradition of woodworking in Brianza. More than 75 years later, solid wood remains central to the collection, particularly Canaletta walnut and ash.
One material, done properly.
Organic forms meet industrial precision in pieces that feel timeless without feeling traditional. Porada’s pieces anchor a room with presence, bringing a warmth to the sharp lines of contemporary architecture.

The Infinity Table
Designed by Stefano Bigi, the Infinity table is built around an interlocking solid ash base beneath a glass top.
It’s a piece that shows exactly what Porada does so well: the joinery is part of the design, rather than something hidden underneath it.
What to look for
Run a hand along the joint where two pieces of wood meet. That’s where you can feel, not only see, the workmanship.
