A cable powers this floor lamp, so it works equally in a living room or on a covered terrace without rewiring. At 201 centimetres tall, it reads as a single vertical form in either setting, useful where a room needs height rather than another low piece of furniture. Stefano Giovannoni designed it for indoor and outdoor use alike.

The body is moulded from recyclable polyethylene, a material suited to damp or sunny spots that would damage timber or fabric shades. It needs no cover and keeps its form season to season.
