Lounge corners and dining rooms often need an extra seat that can double as a side table when guests outnumber chairs. The Mexico stool, designed by Studio Job, is a skull-shaped object with a graphic pattern across its surface, standing 54 centimetres high and 40 centimetres wide. The form nods to Mexico’s traditional painted skulls, a motif Studio Job uses to mark life’s cycle rather than dwell on it. It suits lounge areas, dining rooms and outdoor spaces alike.
