Nika Zupanc designed the Ribbon Armchair as an extension of her Ribbon family, following the original Ribbon chair and the Ribbon chair baby. The piece keeps the ribbon-shaped backrest of the earlier designs. We selected it for that continuity of form across the range, which gives a household the option to furnish with matching pieces of different scale. The armchair measures 105 centimetres high and 80 centimetres wide.

The seat is built from polyurethane foam, upholstered in Mario Sirtori’s Orsetto stretch fabric and available in three colours. This foam-and-fabric construction produces a cushioned seat, consistent with the comfort-focused build of the wider Ribbon family.
