Hallway consoles that run flat against a wall often read as little more than a shelf. The Peninsula console works differently: its metal leg extends perpendicular to the wall, projecting towards the centre of the room rather than along it, so the frame is seen frontally instead of from above. It is sized as a compact wall-mounted piece, suited to an entrance hall or a quiet corner, and forms part of a set of three Peninsula units that can be combined at variable or uniform heights. That perpendicular stance is why it is here.
In the Oxybrass finish, a hand-applied brushed coating impresses fine scratches in a single direction across oxidised brass. Skilled artisans apply the coating by hand, giving the leg a uniform, industrial-toned surface. The finish is specific to the Peninsula range and sets the tone for the whole set.
