Solid canaletta walnut forms the supporting structure of the Amarantha armchair, its curved frame holding a flexible shell upholstered in coupled leather. The shape draws on the Papasan chair, and we selected it for how that reference translates into a deep, rounded seat rather than a conventional armchair silhouette. At 82 centimetres wide, it sits as a single generous piece in a room, with enough presence to work on its own rather than as part of a suite.

A soft cushion with a removable cover sits inside the shell, held in place with buttons so the cover can be taken off and cleaned. The leather shell is available in the colours of the Porada collection. A matching ottoman footrest is also part of the range, for anyone who wants to add one later.
