Marcantonio designed Hungry Frog as a small table or wall lamp shaped like a frog that has swallowed its own bulb, which now glows inside its stomach. A fabric-covered cord, 150 centimetres long, runs from the frog’s open mouth and carries an integrated switch, so the lamp can sit in any corner of a room or be fixed to a wall using adhesive connectors.
Moulded in PMMA, the frog’s form holds its shape well and keeps the lamp light to move between a table and a wall mount. At 24 by 20 centimetres, it suits a side table, a shelf or a stretch of wall without needing floor space.
