Bevelled mirrored glass, worked at the edge to interrupt the reflection, forms the basis of this piece. The result is a frame that reads as defined rather than ornate, with the glass itself doing the work instead of an applied border. We selected the Magnum version for its larger, irregular silhouette, suited to a wall that can carry more scale than the smaller shapes in the range allow.
The mirrored edge is worked by hand to create that broken reflection, a detail that holds up at close range as well as across a room. Cattelan Italia also produces this shape at a smaller size, alongside a round version, so the irregular form can be scaled to the wall rather than fixed to one size.
