Corners and entrance halls often have no fixed surface for a sculpture, a lamp or a vase, leaving ornaments without a place to stand. The Exedra pedestal answers that, built on a 37 centimetre square base and available at 80 or 100 centimetres tall, so it works as a low side piece or a taller display stand depending on the room.
The frame is solid canaletta walnut, shaped and worked to form the body of the piece. The top comes in marble, in wood veneer matched to the frame, or in glossy lacquered brillo finished in rouge brun, greige or deep brown. A metal base detail in the Kajal finish supports the top and sits against the walnut, giving the pedestal its visual weight at floor level.
