A triangular leather seat sits on a steel base, its slight curvature shaped to hold the body rather than just support it. Paolo Cattelan designed the Pepe stool around that one shape, and we selected it for the way the seat does the comfort work without padding or extra structure. It suits a kitchen peninsula, where a run of stools needs to stay light on its feet and easy to move around.
The steel base carries the leather seat without heavy framing, so the stool reads as a single continuous form. That construction holds up to daily use around a counter, which is where Pepe is meant to live.
