Solid canaletta walnut forms a continuous ring that links the front legs to the higher rear legs, replacing a conventional chair back with a single wooden loop. We selected it for this construction, which keeps the armrests light while the ring itself holds the frame solid. In a dining setting, the open structure stays low and avoids crowding a run of chairs around the table.

The seat and backrest are upholstered separately from the frame, in fabrics from the Porada collection, so the walnut ring remains visible around the covered panels. The chair measures 58 centimetres wide and 77 centimetres high, and is available in a range of finishes. Molly forms part of Porada’s wider dining chair range.
