Open-plan living rooms rarely take one fixed sofa shape well, since seating often needs to turn a corner or split to face different parts of a space. Koji’s modules combine in different configurations, each joined by a solid wood detail that runs along the piece and stays visible whichever layout is used. We selected it for that detail, which carries Porada’s joinery as the one constant across an otherwise adaptable layout.
Each module is built on a one-piece shell of multilayer and solid poplar and fir wood, with elastic straps set parallel to the seat for support. The padding uses polyurethane foam in two densities, firmer underneath and softer on top, while the cushions are filled with channelled goose down. The cover is wrapped in a breathable polyester fibre with a hypoallergenic cotton liner, and comes in fabrics and leathers from the Porada collection. Adjustable feet are fitted to each module.
