Many bedroom layouts treat base and headboard as separate structures, which adds visual bulk to a room with little space to spare. The Dylan bed resolves this by forming both into a single slender volume, keeping its footprint light while still giving the headboard real presence. Chromed steel feet lift the frame clear of the floor, which stops it reading as a heavy block against the wall.
The frame is fully upholstered and available in various finishes, from muted tones through to brighter colours, so it can be matched to the rest of the room rather than imposed on it. This upholstered construction is also what allows the base and headboard to read as one continuous shape rather than two separate pieces bolted together.
