Air Sideboard

The Air system has expanded to include a modern sideboard that plays on the contrast between solids and voids, inverting the order of factors: the piece seems to float in air, supported by transparent tempered glass sheets to create a surprising effect of suspension. Free-standing and available finished on both sides, the Air sideboard can also be placed in the middle of the room, lending light and luminosity to the space. Its essential lines make it a versatile piece for furnishing the dining room and kitchen. The Air sideboard can stand out through the choice of dynamic hues and shapes or dialogue with tables and chairs in a
vast range of styles.

Taking the concept of the classical with its original design, Manzoni & Tapinassi have created a more streamlined version that makes no excuses for what refinement in a series can be. Whilst the original brings about the whole interior living ideology to one area, Glory console is more to do with balancing experiences and finding a lighter, softer approach to a new design suite. In keeping with the original, thin tops and almost ethereal legs feature heavily whilst the structure is supported with streamlined, intersecting rods from each corner. Coupled with a half and half solution, drawer one side (covered with leather Leonardo) and a shelf on the other, Glory console is about using the classical styles of the past to create something new for today’s digital world

Between the eucalyptus and zebrano wood structure, the smoked glass section and the marble top, Brooklyn is a product of extraordinary ingenuity, not so different from that neighborhood that even a genuine New Yorker like Anthony Bourdain confessed he had never been able to “get to know completely”.

Bolide

The latest design from Mauro Lipparini, Bolide is anything but sober, this is a statement piece; one for those that are concerned about form, details and ultimately, interior identity. This is a sculptural expression of design, one that takes angles and positions them in a unique set up that is only ever enhanced by our insight into material manipulation and focused approach to details. Think of Bolide as a fluid structure that found its shape through a combination of planned design and natural guidance, Mauro talks of “a wavy ribbon” and you’d be hard pressed to not see that form, but there is more to this. Compartments are broken up with a distinctive curvature, the doors form the design whilst the swooping angles add a sense of linear diversity. Naturally it is highlighted by the use of materials, finished in either sucupira or moka, whilst the top – made from machined lacquer – provides contrast in both texture and implementation. This is a statement about who we are, a modern identity to being creatures of interior living. Bolide, it’s not for the faint hearted but then again, why would you want it to be?
